Diplo is an American record producer, DJ, and songwriter. Diplo manages the record company Mad Decent, which he founded in 2006. He is a lead member of the electronic dancehall music project Major Lazer, which he founded together with Switch in 2008. He is also a member of the supergroup LSD, with Sia and Labirinth. Diplo has worked with such pop artists as Gwen Stefani, Britney Spears, Die Antwoord, Shakira, No Doubt, and many others.

In 2016, he won Grammy Awards for Best Dance/Electronic Album for the album Skrillex and Diplo Present Jack Ü and Best Dance Recording for “Where Are Ü Now”. In 2019, he won a Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording for “Electricity”.
