AlunaGeorge are an English electronic music duo whose sound is a masterly combination of bright synths, fluttering beats, and dizzy bass with pop sound. The duo is comprised of vocalist Aluna Francis and music producer George Reid. AlunaGeorge were shortlisted for the 2013 BRIT Award of Critics' Choice and later they finished as runner up in BBC’s Sound of 2013.
“I’m In Control” was dropped off on 4 March, 2016, as a lead single from AlunaGeorge’s forthcoming studio album I Remember. The track features the energetic rap of Jamaican artist Popcaan which complements Francis’s sweet vocals in perfect manner. It feels like a blow of fresh air with subtle tropical house sounds and R&B tinges. With warm tones, drums, and light rhythm, the tune is a pleasure to everyone’s ears.
